Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare announced today that both of its hospitals—Las Palmas Medical Center and Del Sol Medical Center—received a Healthgrades 2025 America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award™. This distinction recognizes hospitals for superior performance in providing care for conditions and procedures across multiple specialty services. Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare hospitals were recognized among the top 5% of the 4,500 hospitals nationwide included in the assessment for clinical excellence, according to Healthgrades.
In addition to this national recognition, Healthgrades measured hospitals across 18 specialty care areas to identify the highest-ranking hospitals in 32 eligible states. Las Palmas Medical Center and Del Sol Medical Center ranked No. 1 in Texas for critical care, gastrointestinal care, gastrointestinal medical treatment and pulmonary care. Additionally, both facilities were recognized as America’s 50 Best Hospitals for superior clinical outcomes for surgical care.
Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare hospitals were also recognized among the 100 Best Hospitals for 16 of the most common specialty care areas, ranking among the top 2% of hospitals for critical care, gastrointestinal care, gastrointestinal surgery, orthopedic surgery, pulmonary care and stroke care.
