The American Stroke Association and American Heart Association recently recognized Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare for excellence in the areas of stroke and heart failure.
Las Palmas Medical Center and Del Sol Medical Center received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target: Stroke Honor Roll. These awards recognize a hospital’s commitment to—and success in—ensuring patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines.
In the area of heart failure, Del Sol Medical Center earned the Heart Failure Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award, and Las Palmas Medical Center earned the Heart Failure Gold Quality Achievement Award for meeting quality measurements for the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure patients.
Del Sol Medical Center also received the association’s Target: Heart Failure Honor Roll, an initiative to reduce hospital readmissions, and help heart failure patients improve their quality of life.
