About TAVR surgery
Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible before and after your procedure. To accomplish this, we work to keep you informed of every step of the surgical and recovery process.
Our TAVR surgical process
During a TAVR procedure, your surgeon will use imaging technology to insert a thin, flexible tube, called a catheter, through your blood vessel and into the aortic valve. The new valve is secured into place through the catheter, and once it is secured, the catheter is removed. After surgery, our postoperative care process begins, providing you with all the pertinent information you may need going forward.
Postoperative care
Our specialists prepare you and your physician for life after TAVR, using valuable education to guide you on how to best manage your thoracic aortic disease.
