Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare began construction earlier this year on its third freestanding emergency center in El Paso. The new facility, scheduled to open this fall, will serve as an extension of Las Palmas Medical Center.

“This facility in northeast El Paso will provide the same level of care and expertise that our hospital-based emergency departments do, but in a new location that’s more convenient for many in our community,” Don Karl, chief executive officer of Las Palmas Medical Center, said.

The new center will feature 10 exam rooms with treatment beds and advanced testing capabilities, including radiological testing and a medical lab. The Las Palmas Del Sol Emergency Center in northeast El Paso, a 24/7 facility, will offer a full-service, freestanding emergency department staffed by board-certified physicians and nurses trained in emergency care.
