Volunteering

At Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare you can practice volunteerism by devoting yourself to the welfare of others. Our volunteers are integral part of our family and play many vital roles throughout our facilities. They are a diverse group – from college students to retirees – united by a desire to serve their community by helping others. Volunteer positions are available at Del Sol Medical Center in several different capacities.

Criteria to Senior Volunteer

• 18 years of age or older
• In good health
• Possess a great attitude and a big smile

Criteria to Junior Volunteer

• 14 years to 18 years of age
• In good standing at school
• Possess a great attitude and a big smile

You must also be prepared for change, as Volunteering with Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare will make a difference in your life and the lives of others.

Applications for JUNIOR VOLUNTEERS are accepted from March 15th through May 1st each year to allow for processing prior to summer months. Accepted applicants will need to pass the background check, drug screening and TB skin test as well as attend mandatory orientation PRIOR to beginning their training at Del Sol Medical Center.
