Las Palmas Medical Center opens a Women & Teen Center in West El Paso

Las Palmas Medical Center started the new year with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 15 for a Women & Teen Center in West El Paso. The following day, services opened to the public.

“Delivering excellent care to women at all stages of their lives is our top priority,” Jerry Gonzales, chief nursing officer at Las Palmas Medical Center, said. “With the opening of the Women & Teen Center in West El Paso, we’re excited to bring care that is closer and more conveniently located to women in that region.”

Women & Teen Centers, which are conveniently located throughout the El Paso community, offer specialized care in the following areas:

•      Free and confidential pregnancy testing
•      Physician referral services
•      Prenatal and basic infant care classes
•      Medicaid-eligibility information.
